Isles TaeKwon-Do Federation - Instructor Seminar
The
British Isles TaeKwon-Do Federation held an
Instructors and umpire seminar on the 26th and
27th
March 2011 in Addiewell, Scotland. The
seminar was held by Senior Master Hutchison, 8th
Degree. In attendance were black
belt students from the Federation.

Isles TaeKwon-Do Federation - Instructor Seminar
The
British Isles TaeKwon-Do Federation held an
Instructors seminar on the 11th and 12th
September 2010 in Windsor, England. The
seminar was led by Senior Master Hutchison, 8th
Degree and hosted by Senior Master Brown 8th
Degree. In attendance were red and black
belt students from the Federation.

Cancer Research UK - Race for Life,
Inverness
Claire
Stirling and 5-month-old daughter Alena
completed the Inverness Race for Life to help
raise funds for the charity Cancer Research UK.
They
completed the event along with a group of
students and family members from Claire
Crosbie's TaeKwon-Do Schools, which made up a
ladies team for the race, held at the Bught Park
on Sunday 9 May 2010.

New
TaeKwon-Do Arrival
The
newest addition to Claire Crosbie's TaeKwon-Do
School has now arrived.
Alena Stirling was
born on the 22 December 2009, weighing in at
7lbs and 4ozs. Both mum and baby are well
and happy to have made it home before Christmas.
TaeKwon-Do
Awards, Whitburn
Claire
Stirling was
awarded the "Instructor of the Year"
at Master Hutchison's TaeKwon-Do Academy
end of year presentation ceremony on 21 December 2009.

TaeKwon-Do
Seminar, Gothenburg, Sweden
On
27 February Claire Stirling attended a seminar led by Senior
Master Hutchison, 8th Dan and hosted by Senior
Master Armstrong, 8th Dan and his
Gothenburg TaeKwon-Do Club in Sweden.
"The
seminar from 27
February to 1 March 2009 was very well attended
and I would like to thank Master Armstrong and
his students for the warm welcome and
hospitality I received on my visit".

Claire
Stirling was
presented with the "Student of the Year"
award at Master Hutchison's TaeKwon-Do Academy
annual awards ceremony on 13 December 2008.

Marie Curie Cancer Care - Health and Wellbeing Day, Inverness
On 4 November 2008
Claire Stirling attended a Marie Curie Cancer Care
Health and Wellbeing event held at the Inverness Town House.
A stand was set
for anyone wishing to find out more about TaeKwon-Do
and what we do in the sport. In an informal and relaxed
atmosphere guests were able to wander round and put
questions to us if they wished. Thank you to
all who attended and gave their
support to this worthy charity.

TaeKwon-Do
Presentation, Addiewell, West Lothian
Inverness TaeKwon-Do
instructor Claire Stirling celebrated her promotion to 5th
degree black belt when she was presented with her ITF
certificate from the British Isles TaeKwon-Do Federation
(BITF) president, Senior ITF Master Les Hutchison, 8th
degree.
Aged 27, she becomes the
youngest woman training with the BITF to be awarded this
degree and her achievement now ranks her as the highest
graded female instructor within this association.
Also presented to her on
the day was her ITF affiliation plaque – an official
recognition from the International TaeKwon-Do Federation
for her new TaeKwon-Do schools. As a member of
Master Hutchison’s TaeKwon-Do Academy she has opened a
series of TaeKwon-Do schools in Inverness.

Claire
Crosbie was married to Mike Stirling at a ceremony in
the Scottish Borders on 11 July 2008.

Grading, Addiewell, West Lothian
Claire Crosbie is pleased to
announce her promotion to 5th Degree black belt after grading at
Senior Master Hutchison's
seminar in Addiewell on 24
May 2008.
EITF Junior and Senior European Championships,
Porec, Croatia
Claire Crosbie attended
the EITF European Championships in Porec,
Croatia as an official umpire for Scotland.
Cancer
Research UK- Race for Life, Inverness

On the 11 May 2008
Claire Crosbie participated in the fundraising event
Race for Life, running in memory of her mother who
passed away from cancer in 2005.

"Events like Race for Life are an important way
in which Cancer Research UK is able to fund its
life-saving work into preventing, diagnosing and
treating cancer.
Thank you to all
who sponsored me for the race - together we will
beat cancer."
