Congratulations to all
students who attended the Scottish Open Championships at
the Bellahouston Leisure Centre, Glasgow on 17 April
2010. A
total of eight medals were won in the sparring
and patterns categories. Well done to everyone who
attended

UKTA British Championships, Glasgow
Congratulations
to all students who attended the British Open Championships
at the Kelvin Hall, Glasgow on 7 November 2009. A
total of eight medals were won in the sparring categories
with Daniel Wilby picking up the title of British Champion
for his gold in the under 13's, under 155cm section.

TaeKwon-Do Sparring Seminar, North Kessock Community
Hall
We would like to thank Senior ITF
Master Les Hutchison, 8th Dan for conducting a
sparring seminar at the North Kessock Community Hall
on 19 September 2009 and also his black belt academy
student Luke Foss, 1st Dan for his assistance on the
day. The seminar consisted of many sparring
drills and exercises for the students, many of whom
will compete at the British Championships later in
the year.

Raigmore
Primary School Summer Fair
Members of Claire
Crosbie TaeKwon-Do School's
attended Raigmore Primary School's Summer Fair on
Saturday 6 June 2009. The students, many of whom
are pupils from Raigmore Primary School, performed a
series of TaeKwon-Do demonstrations for the local
community. The primary school has been raising
funds for new playground equipment.

Crudelli's Kick Ass Seminar, Raigmore Community Centre
Claire Crosbie TaeKwon-Do
Schools would like to thank martial artist Chris Crudelli
for hosting his "Kick Ass" seminar at our school in Raigmore, Inverness on 23 May 2009.
We would also like to thank
all the martial art groups who came together from
varying clubs across Inverness, Moray and Aberdeen-shire
and participated in the seminar.

You may
know his work as a martial artist, author, TV
producer, star of BBC and Dave, ‘Mind Body & Kick Ass
Moves’, ‘Kick Ass Miracles’ and ‘Kick Ass in a Crisis’.
He
has
also conducted
a number of UK and international courses in Aikido,
Jujitsu, Karate, Kung Fu, Tae Chi and TaeKwon-Do.
The
seminar included
basic forms and applications, body alignment,
co-ordination as used in the issuance of force, mind
over matter exercises, Qigong (Ki Skill) for healing and
martial arts, basic to advance disarming methods of a
stick, knife or gun, pressure point work and Chris’s
unique skills of immovable gung (circling force back
into the opponent).

Scottish Championships, Inverness
Congratulations to
the eight students who attended the UKTA Scottish Open Championships in
Inverness on 28 March 2009.
Students Finlay Davidson and Kyle
Grzesinski both were successful in winning gold medals
for sparring and picked up the titles of Scottish Champion.
Silver medals were awarded, also in sparring to Liam Patrick, Gemma Martin
and
Andris Lastovskis.
Well done also to Aiden
Grant, Connor Kienzler and Lewis Searles who performed
well on the day but narrowly missed out on the medal positions.
