UKTA Scottish Open Championships Congratulations to all students who attended the Scottish Open Championships at the Bellahouston Leisure Centre, Glasgow on 17 April 2010. A total of eight medals were won in the sparring and patterns categories. Well done to everyone who attended on the day, especially those who were competing for the first time.

ITF Seminar and Grading, North Kessock Community Hall We would like to thank Senior Master Hutchison for hosting a seminar and grading at North Kessock on 12 December 2009. Congratulations also to those who were promoted after their grading. The results were as follows:

UKTA British Championships, Glasgow Congratulations to all students who attended the British Open Championships at the Kelvin Hall, Glasgow on 7 November 2009. A total of eight medals were won in the sparring categories with Daniel Wilby picking up the title of British Champion for his gold in the under 13's, under 155cm section. Well done to everyone who competed on the day.

TaeKwon-Do Sparring Seminar, North Kessock Community Hall We would like to thank Senior ITF Master Les Hutchison, 8th Dan for conducting a sparring seminar at the North Kessock Community Hall on 19 September 2009 and also his black belt academy student Luke Foss, 1st Dan for his assistance on the day. The seminar consisted of many sparring drills and exercises for the students, many of whom will compete at the British Championships later in the year.

TaeKwon-Do 'Tots' Seminar and Grading, North Kessock Community Hall Congratulations to all the students who attended our tots seminar and grading in the North Kessock Community Hall on Saturday 19 September 2009. We would like to thank Senior ITF Master Les Hutchison, 8th Dan for his attendance and also his black belt academy student Luke Foss, 1st Dan for his assistance on the day.
6 students from our 4 to 6 year old classes successfully graded to 9th kup yellow tag. They were: Flynn Paton ("A" pass), Tiree Paton ("A" pass), Martin Thomson, Becki MacLeod, Ben McLaughlin and Hamish Fraser.

TaeKwon-Do Seminar and Grading, North Kessock Community Hall Congratulations to the 36 students who attended our seminar and grading in the North Kessock Community Hall on Saturday 27 June 2009. We would like to thank Senior ITF Master Les Hutchison, 8th Dan for his attendance on the day.
9 students from our 4 to 6 year old classes successfully graded to 9th kup yellow tag, all achieving "A" grade pass marks. They were: Dylan Morrison, Abbie Milne, Lewis McGorm, Rheanna McGorm, Tyler MacKay, Lucy Eunson, Ryan Patience, Kian Lasota, and Owen MacDonald.
Senior Master Hutchison VIII and Claire Crosbie V with the age 6 and under group who all achieved "A" grade passes and were promoted to Yellow Tag.
The 27 students who attended from our 7 year old and above classes successfully graded as follows:
The highest grade trophy was awarded to Gemma Martin. Well done to everyone who attended on the day.

Raigmore Primary School Summer Fair Members of Claire Crosbie TaeKwon-Do School's attended Raigmore Primary School's Summer Fair on Saturday 6 June 2009. The students, many of whom are pupils from Raigmore Primary School, performed a series of TaeKwon-Do demonstrations for the local community. The primary school has been raising funds for new playground equipment.

Chris Crudelli's Kick Ass Seminar, Raigmore Community Centre Claire Crosbie TaeKwon-Do Schools would like to thank martial artist Chris Crudelli for hosting his "Kick Ass" seminar at our school in Raigmore, Inverness on 23 May 2009.
We would also like to thank all the martial art groups who came together from varying clubs across Inverness, Moray and Aberdeen-shire and participated in the seminar.
Chris Crudelli You may know his work as a martial artist, author, TV producer, star of BBC and Dave, ‘Mind Body & Kick Ass Moves’, ‘Kick Ass Miracles’ and ‘Kick Ass in a Crisis’. He has also conducted a number of UK and international courses in Aikido, Jujitsu, Karate, Kung Fu, Tae Chi and TaeKwon-Do.
The seminar included basic forms and applications, body alignment, co-ordination as used in the issuance of force, mind over matter exercises, Qigong (Ki Skill) for healing and martial arts, basic to advance disarming methods of a stick, knife or gun, pressure point work and Chris’s unique skills of immovable gung (circling force back into the opponent).

UKTA Scottish Championships, Inverness Congratulations to the eight students who attended the UKTA Scottish Open Championships in Inverness on 28 March 2009.
Students Finlay Davidson and Kyle
Grzesinski both were successful in winning gold medals
for sparring and picked up the titles of Scottish Champion.
Silver medals were awarded, also in sparring to Liam Patrick, Gemma Martin

Well done also to Aiden Grant, Connor Kienzler and Lewis Searles who performed well on the day but narrowly missed out on the medal positions.

TaeKwon-Do Seminar and Grading, Raigmore Community Centre Congratulations to all students from Inshes, Raigmore, North Kessock and Drakies Schools who attended our second seminar and grading in Inverness. We would like to thank Senior ITF Master Les Hutchison, 8th Dan for his attendance on the 7th March 2009.
20 students successfully graded from 9 kup yellow tag to 8 kup yellow belt. They were: Ross Balfour, Kyle Coleman, Finlay Davidson, Reem Elsapagh, George Evans, Tom Evans, Aiden Grant, Kyle Grzesinski, Connor Kienzler, Kieran Kienzler, Conall MacKay, Erin MacLeod, Liam Patrick, Jonathan Robb, Garvie Roberts, Liam Ross, Matthew Ross, Lewis Searles, Stacie Shand and Emma Tate.
10 students successfully double graded from 10 kup white belt to 8 kup yellow belt. They were: Andris Lastovskis, Steven Graham, Mona Zuberi, Chloe Williamson, Natasha Smith, Gemma Martin, Jamie Heafey, Shaun Gemmell, Toby Deakin and Shannon Young.
And finally 7 students successfully graded from 10 kup white belt to 9 kup yellow tag. They were: Ross Beaton, Jay MacLeod, Sophie MacLeod, Matthew MacGillvary, Daniel Wilby, James Wylie and Tom Leslie.
